Antiques Trade Gazette, 'Jenna fulfils a modern ambition'

Antiques Trade Gazette, 27th November 2010

"Jenna fulfils a modern ambition

The new art gallery in the picturesque village of Kingsclere, Hampshire, is the fulfilment of a long-held ambition of Jenna Burlingham. She started her career around 15 years ago as a Modern British art specialist with Phillips auctioneers before becoming a director at the London gallery Offer Waterman. Now, as Jenna Burlingham Fine Art, she will deal in Modern and Contemporary pictures, ceramics, sculptures and furniture, with a price range of between £100 and £20,000. The launch show, from November 26 to December 22, will be a mixed exhibition of Modern British art. Jenna, who lives in North Hampshire and noticed a dearth of galleries in the area, says: 'We hope to find something for everyone and to engender a love of Modern British art in all.'

The show will include works by such Mod Brit names as John Piper, Elisabeth Frink, Mark Fedden, Julian Trevelyan and Patrick Heron, alongside contemporary artists who, Jenna feels, have potential. Prices from £75 to £20,000."
