Tony Scrivener b. 1944

Tony Scrivener has painted all his life but only came to dedicate more time to the studio in recent years. Born in London, a move to Dorset in 1970 reignited his passion for painting, though it was not until after the millennium that Tony found the time to create more work. He studied at Reigate College of Art and Bournemouth and Poole College of Art, from where he graduated with a first class BA in 1999.

Tony has exhibited extensively in London and the South East, including regular inclusions in the Royal Academy's Summer Exhibitions. Scrivener's works emphasise the painting process, with the evidence of his techniques balancing a compositional focus. His work has found homes with a wide variety of collectors.
