Adam Milford b. 1979
Adam Milford's work reflects the experience of his surroundings, a reinterpretation of sensations in space. He was born in Portsmouth, Hampshire, but his family moved to Plymouth at an early age. He studied at Plymouth College of Art before the Liverpool School of Art and Design, from where he graduated with a BA (Hons) in Fine Art in 2001.
Since then, Milford has been working from his Plymouth studio on a body of work strongly inspired by his encounters with the environment of Devon and Cornwall. His work is in the collection of Truro School, Cornwall as well as in those of numerous private collectors across the UK.
